Avago Technologies (Broadcom Limited)

Avago Technologies, now part of Broadcom Limited, was a leading semiconductor company known for its innovative solutions in the areas of analog, mixed-signal, and optoelectronic components. Established in 1961 as Hewlett-Packard's semiconductor products division, Avago Technologies later became an independent company in 2005. It quickly gained prominence for its broad portfolio of products including RF amplifiers, LED drivers, optical sensors, and fiber optic transceivers. In 2016, Avago Technologies acquired Broadcom Corporation, forming Broadcom Limited, a global technology leader with a comprehensive portfolio spanning wired and wireless communications, enterprise storage, and industrial markets.
