Role: Senior Laravel & Bootstrap Optimization Developer (Remote)

Compensation:€100 per month

Contract Duration:3 Months (with opportunity for long-term continuation)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and specialized developer with strong expertise in theme layout optimization, reverse engineering, and performance enhancement. This is a higher-grade technical role requiring deep understanding of code-level optimization to reduce operational costs and improve website efficiency.

The selected developer will be responsible for repairing, redeveloping, and optimizing our existing theme using structured A/B testing methodologies without relying on external or third-party tools or resources.

13 categories

200 subcategories

5+ million product pages

The role requires strategic thinking to ensure scalability, speed optimization, and clean architecture across a very large product database.

Key Responsibilities

Optimize and repair existing website theme layout.

Perform reverse engineering to improve structure and reduce unnecessary resource consumption.

Conduct A/B testing for theme improvements without external tools.

Remove or optimize unnecessary design and UI elements such as:

FadeInUp animation cards

Post card editor

Product cards

Font selections

Color schemes

Other unnecessary design resources

Optimize backend and frontend code for performance and cost efficiency.

Improve and resolve Google PageSpeed warnings.

Ensure scalability and stability across 5M+ product pages.

Optimize database queries and structure where necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in Laravel

Advanced knowledge of Bootstrap

Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL

Deep understanding of code optimization and reverse engineering

Strong experience in PageSpeed performance optimization

Ability to work independently without third-party reliance

Experience handling large-scale product databases (millions of pages preferred)
